Overview
The situation
RevCore Recovery Center provides integrated outpatient treatment for individuals dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders across multiple locations in New York City. Their philosophy is whole-person care — no judgement, no barriers, just support. But their digital presence didn't reflect this. The site lacked the warmth, clarity, and structure needed to serve people in vulnerable moments of decision, and wasn't built to scale across multiple treatment sites.
Challenge
What we had to solve
Recovery and mental health is one of the most sensitive verticals in web design. The people arriving at this site are often in crisis, scared, or searching on behalf of a loved one. Every word, every layout decision, every CTA had to be calibrated to reduce anxiety rather than add to it — while still driving the conversions the organisation needed to grow. Clinical credibility and human warmth had to coexist on every single page.

How we built it
Discovery & Journey Mapping
We mapped user journeys for three audiences: prospective clients seeking treatment for themselves, family members researching options for a loved one, and referral partners such as doctors and social workers. Each arrived with different emotional states and different information needs. This mapping shaped the tone of every content block, the placement of every CTA, and the structure of the service pages.
UI/UX Design & Prototyping
Using Figma, we designed a warm, professional interface that balanced clinical credibility with genuinely human-centred language and visual design. Calming colours, open layout, and empathetic copy were used throughout. Testimonial modules, program descriptions, and location finders were designed to reduce the mental load on vulnerable visitors — making it easy to understand, easy to trust, and easy to take the next step. An interactive prototype was approved before development began.
WordPress Development
The site was built on WordPress with a custom theme — flexible and scalable to accommodate RevCore's multisite operations across New York City. Service pages were structured to explain each programme clearly: individual therapy, group counselling, dual-diagnosis treatment, and medication-assisted recovery. A location finder, referral forms, and appointment scheduling CTAs were integrated throughout, with phone call conversion treated as a primary goal alongside form submissions.
QA, SEO & Launch
QA covered mobile responsiveness, form flows, accessibility standards, and page speed. SEO fundamentals were applied across all programme and location pages — targeting mental health, addiction treatment, and outpatient recovery searches across New York City boroughs. The site launched on day 14, fully accessible, fast, and ready to serve people who needed it most.

Our philosophy has always been that we meet people wherever they are, without judgement. The website finally reflects that. People are finding us at their most vulnerable moments and the site gives them the confidence to reach out — that's what it needed to do.
