The situation
No to Pests offers fast, reliable, and environmentally conscious pest control for both residential and commercial clients. But like most local service businesses, their online presence was holding them back — dated design, no clear quote flow, and nothing that communicated their eco-friendly approach or response speed. They needed a site that worked as hard as their technicians.

What we had to solve
Pest control is an impulse-driven category — when someone has a problem, they want a solution today. The site had to convert visitors who were already stressed and searching fast, with a clear path to getting a quote or booking a visit in as few clicks as possible. At the same time, it needed to communicate trust signals — certifications, eco-friendly methods, technician expertise — to stand out from a crowded local market.

How we built it
Discovery & User Journey Mapping
We mapped three distinct user journeys: homeowners with an urgent pest problem, businesses needing recurring inspections, and visitors comparing providers. Each journey had a different entry point and a different conversion goal — emergency quote, scheduled visit, or trust-building browsing. The site architecture and CTAs were designed around all three from the outset.
UI/UX Design & Prototyping
Using Figma, we designed a clean, modern interface that balanced eco-friendly warmth with the urgency that service businesses need. Key trust signals — certified technicians, eco-safe treatments, rapid response times — were woven into the design rather than buried in body copy. Wireframes and a clickable prototype were approved before development began.
WordPress Development & Conversion Setup
The site was built on WordPress with a custom theme and Elementor, featuring custom service listing modules, a quote request form, and integrated scheduling tools. Pest-specific service pages were built for both residential and commercial clients, each with targeted copy, clear pricing signals, and prominent CTAs. Testimonials and certifications were structured to reinforce credibility at every scroll point.
QA, SEO & Launch
Final QA covered mobile responsiveness, form functionality, page speed, and cross-browser rendering. Local SEO fundamentals were applied — service-area targeting, structured headings, and meta content aligned to the searches pest-control customers actually make. The site went live on day 7, on schedule and without issues.
